- An Email Signature is really a MUST HAVE on any business email. Don’t know how to set one up? Call the IT guy immediately. At a minimum a signature block should include full name, phone number and link to your website. If you don’t have a website, your address would be nice too. Other nice things to include is a link to your twitter page or blog if you’re using it for business.
- There’s just no replacement for a “Job well done” or “Nice work today.” 3 simple words that go a long way to keeping the people around you happy and motivated. We’re not saying undue praise or over the top commendations, just a little something to let people know you appreciate what they do for you. Just a little “You know what? You’re not so terrible at this.” It feels good to know someone appreciates your hard work, and it makes you want to keep working hard. Is there someone in your life that deserves a “Job well done” or a “Nice work today”? If so, take a minute to tell them. Spread some positivity.
- Go see the movie UP. Those of you who follow us on twitter, know that we took some time between meetings last week to see the movie. What was supposed to be a movie to inspire us to be creative, had a second deeper meaning… Life is an adventure, so hold on tight and enjoy the ride.
