It was exactly one year ago today that we gave notice at our previous employer. We dubbed it Independence Day, and Matt snapped a picture of the office calendar so that we would always remember the day we took our first irrevocable step toward truly doing business on our own terms. It’s been a crazy ride full of ups and downs, but given the choice to do it all over again, we would still raise a glass to our independence. So that is exactly what we will do later tonight.
